Benefits Offered to Advantage Employees

Health Insurance

Advantage full-time Field Staff employees will have a choice between a Bronze PPO plan through Anthem or a Reliance Standard Essential Plan, which is the Minimum Essential Coverage plan that meets the ACA requirement. Reliance will also offer a Basic Advantage Indemnity plan as an additional option.

Enrollment eligibility for new employees is on the first day of the month following a 60 day waiting period for those who work full-time (averaging 30 or more hours per week). Open enrollment is offered once a year at renewal for a January through December plan year, subject to eligibility including satisfying the measurement period.

  • The company has made the employee contributions cost of the single rate of the Bronze PPO plan no more than 9.69% of an employee’s annual earnings. The 9.69% is required by the Affordable Care Act.
  • Advantage will pay 100% of the employee cost for the Essential (MEC) plan through Reliance Standard (preventative care only).
  • The group medical plans and the contribution schedule may change at renewal (annually in January) or with a 30 day notice.

Advantage has partnered with John Hancock USA and Merrill Lynch to bring you an excellent opportunity to save for your retirement. Advantage offers enrollment for all eligible employees 2 times a year, January 1st and July 1st. You will be eligible to participate for purposes of salary deferrals when you have completed 1 year of service and have attained an age of 21. You will have completed a year of service if, at the end of your first 12 months of employment, you have been credited with at least 1,000 hours of service.
